Rumble (RUM) Stock Drops 8% After Q1 Earnings Miss
Rumble Inc. reported Q1 2026 revenue of $25.46 million, a 7.4% year-over-year increase but slightly below analyst estimates of $25.98 million. The company's GAAP loss per share of $0.12 missed consensus expectations by 33.3%, driven by higher sales and marketing expenditures, particularly for international expansion.
Monthly active users grew to 56 million, bolstered by marketing campaigns and the unmonetized Rumble Shorts feature, which weighed on average revenue per user. CEO Chris Pavlovski emphasized cloud services—via the Northern Data acquisition—as the future primary revenue driver.
Despite the earnings miss, RUM shares have surged 31.7% year-to-date, outperforming the S&P 500's 8.8% gain. The stock fell 8% post-announcement as investors digested the mixed results.
